VANDERBIJLPARK. – Two local ladies will be part of the historial 4th Supreme Fight League (SFL) event hosted at Barnyard Theatre in Rivonia on Saturday night.
If you enjoy movies like Bloodsport, then you know where you should be on Saturday night. Explosive fights can be expected in this full contact kickboxing night with a fight-card weighted with remarkably  talented and diver-se fighting talent.  “This particular event will be thrilling and treat kickboxing fans to a total of 13 fights, with an incredible line-up leading up to the main fight,” says Maka Maguga, SFL spokesperson.  Amateur, super amateur and professional fights define the line-up, each with their own particular rules and safety requirements. In the opening fight of the evening, local beauty Celeste “Lightning” Beukes of the Vaal Warrior Kickboxing Club in Vander-bijlpark, will make her debute in full contact fighting.

But looks can be deceiving. She is also a member of Vaal Warrior and is looking forward to Saturday. “I don’t believe in smack-talk, but I can promise you one thing … the fight between myself and Christine “The Edge” Wolmerans, won’t be disappointing,” says Stingray. These two ladies have met before in cage-fighting and The Edge won by a single point.
