Five-vehicle collision leaves five injured

VANDERBIIJLPARK. – ER24 reported that five people were left injured yesterday afternoon April 12 when five vehicles collided at the R42 and R57 in Vanderbijlpark.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found the five vehicles in the middle of the intersection. Several patients were found walking around on the scene. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that five had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported. The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations. (Russel Meiring – ER24 Spokesperson)
